We are a registered Non-Profit Organisation, with registration number 204-694 NPO and are recognized by SARS as a public benefit organisation with Section 18A status (PBO 930076703). 

Section 18A

Section 18A is the way our government encourages individuals and companies to give to Public Benefit Organizations that qualify for the Section 18A status.

What this means for you as an individual or company, is that, if you give us a gift: the minimum is R100 maximum is up to 10% of your annual taxable income (you can give more, but the exemption only qualifies for up to 10%) you can receive a certificate from us (we must have all your details), that you can use to submit your tax to SARS. SARS will then deduct the amount you have given as above, from your taxable income, which will reduce the tax you pay. Five Loaves Two Fish will issue you with a certificate in May, for gifts given from 1 March (previous year) to 28 February (current year).
